About the business
Salento's Auto Body is a structure in Taviano, in the province of Lecce, dedicated to the import and restoration of American cars in the Salento territory. It combines the skills of a mechanical garage and a body shop, an indispensable pairing when working on an overseas car that often arrives in Italy in variable conditions and needs both mechanics and aesthetic refurbishment.
The public rating of the work is very high: the business collects almost all five-star reviews speaking of impeccable results, expert staff available for every need, and an excellent value for money. Customers describe a prepared, competent team, fundamental traits in the restoration of American cars, where differences in construction, measurements and materials make the usual techniques of European body shops inadequate.
The offer is addressed first of all to owners of classic and modern American cars of the Salento and Puglia, an area where structures specialized in US vehicles are rare and it is often necessary to travel to central-northern Italy for serious work. The local presence of a partner able to import, restore and maintain an American car is a concrete advantage: the owner avoids long trips and transport costs, and can follow the restoration close to home. The approach declared in the reviews shows attention to detail and careful workmanship on every customer need.
Salento's Auto Body suits collectors and enthusiasts who own or want to import a muscle car, a pony car or an American off-roader and look for a serious technical point in Puglia, and anyone who already has a US car needing bodywork restoration or mechanical work. To evaluate the project of your vehicle, contact the structure by phone or by visiting Via C. Darwin in Taviano: the team analyzes the car and proposes the work plan.
